I’m a postdoc in philosophy at Princeton University, where I received my PhD.

I work primarily on Aristotle’s biology; right now I’m thinking about eggs in Aristotle’s embryology and ectogenesis more broadly. I’m interested in ancient Greek and Roman natural philosophy and metaphysics, how they are influenced by ancient medicine and veterinary science, and their ethical and political entanglements.
